How Does It Work?
The company’s goal is to build a wide library of copyrighted material, diversified across genres, budgets or audience-types. The current slate is composed primarily of thrillers (40%) and comedies (30%); mostly written in-house, with fewer than 20 percent acquired from third-parties.
IncuBeta invests reasonable costs in screenplay development through a network of emerging screenwriters it has built upon since the company’s inception in 2010.
IncuBeta’s profit-sharing structure is innovative in the Film Industry. It awards individual writers significant ownership of the company’s future revenues, enabling flexibility in the developmental stages of a project.
